Partnering for success
A problem. A leading Cosmetic manufacturer was in a quandary for its Christmas packaging "look". The company knew what it wanted, but didn't know how to attain just what they desired.
Hampden's New York/New Jersey Sales office was invited to offer some of their thoughts as to how this look could be created. Hampden's Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Gregg Olah immediately started a creative partnership with the cosmetic company's designer, marketing department and the purchasing department. He offered Hampden's unique combination of papers, a talented R&D department and production machinery to seek an answer to this pressing marketing problem.
With the close cooperation of Hampdenís Director of R&D, Mr. Mike Archambeault, new directions were sought which ultimately led to a favorable conclusion for the customer.
Using a holographic film pattern laminated to a 70# C/1/S litho as the base sheet, gravure coating, printing of the cosmetic makerís original art, lacquer top coating and embossing were combined in a manner never before attempted to produce a stunning box wrap for exquisite packaging. This success was accomplished with the on-site cooperation and guidance from the cosmetic producer's marketing team.
The finished boxes were considered by the cosmetic companyís marketing team as the best looking and most creative packaging of that very successful Christmas season. It was a most successful combination of customer and Hampden creativity, a partnership that paid off in big sales at department cosmetic counters that Yule season.
